​1. Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing www.boatsgroup.com ("Site"), you agree to:

  • Be bound by these Terms and all applicable maritime commerce regulations
  • Comply with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) for marine technologies
  • Verify all purchased parts comply with your vessel's flag state requirements

​2. Account Registration​

​Marine Professional Accounts​

  • Commercial operators must provide:

    ▶️ Business tax ID
    ▶️ Dock/marina business address

​Consumer Accounts​

  • Users under 18 prohibited from purchasing navigational electronics or safety equipment

​3. Product Information​

​Marine Part Specifications​

  • All measurements follow ABYC (American Boat & Yacht Council) standards
  • Product images may show optional accessories not included
  • Technical drawings subject to ISO 9001:2015 tolerance standards

​Critical Notice:​
"Marine-grade" designation applies only to products meeting:

  • ASTM F1072 (Corrosion Resistance)
  • NMEA 2000® certification (where applicable)

​4. Ordering & Pricing​

  • ​Cryptocurrency:​​ Accepted only for non-regulated items (e.g., non-ITAR/non-EAR products)

​6. Shipping & Risk​

  • FOB Terms: Title transfers at our Florida warehouse (Incoterms® 2020: EXW)
  • Hazardous Materials:
    ▶️ Batteries shipped via ground transport only (49 CFR § 173.159 compliance)
    ▶️ Mercury-containing devices require special handling fee ($85)

​7. Returns & Warranty​

  • ​Core Charges:​​ Mandatory for exchange parts (e.g., alternators, pumps)

    ▶️ Installed without ABYC-certified technician

  • ​User Content:​​ By submitting installation photos, you grant perpetual rights for IMO training materials

​9. Liability Limitations​

  • ​Consequential Damages Cap:​​ Lesser of $5,000 or 200% of purchase price
  • ​Asbestos Disclaimer:​​ Vintage parts may contain EPA-banned materials - no liability assumed
  • ​Marine Pollution:​​ Buyer assumes responsibility for oil/fluid disposal per 33 CFR § 155

​10. Governing Law​

  • ​Jurisdiction:​​ Disputes governed under Maritime Law of the Southern District of Florida
  • ​Forum Selection:​​ Claims must be filed in Broward County, FL
  • ​Force Majeure:​​ Includes hurricanes (Category 3+), port closures, and IMO regulation changes

  • 30-day notice for changes affecting commercial account holders
